Creative Cambodian cuisine

The best things are found in the most unexpected places. Tucked away on Street 174 you will find our Cambodian training restaurant, Romdeng, run by former street youth in training. Set in a beautiful colonial building, Romdeng serves a great variety of Cambodian food ranging from almost forgotten recipes from the provinces to contemporary creative Cambodian cuisine.

In designing and setting up the restaurant, special care was taken to include as many Cambodian made products as possible. The wooden carvings, tables, chairs and unique lights were all hand made in Cambodia. We are especially proud to be using silk goods and cushions made by our students in the sewing vocational training at Mith Samlanh. Decorating the walls of Romdeng are beautiful paintings produced by the children and youth from art classes at our Training Center. We don't sell original paintings by the kids; however, we do sell prints in our restaurants and outlets. When visiting, allow yourself some time to enjoy the pool and free WIFI. Romdeng can also provide catering for weddings, functions and parties and can host events for up to 160 people.

All profits from our restaurants are reinvested into Mith Samlanh's projects for former street children and youth.
